Bathtime

With the thermometer hitting above 35 Ralph thought it was a good idea to jump in the bath to cool down. Luck for us it was the old bath out the back and not the one in the house.
And of course that’s tank water he’s digging out of the bath.
Working the land

Over the last couple of weekends we’ve been doing a few things on the block at Anstead. We’d had the road fixed up a few months ago, but a few storms have made short work of it, so we decided to put some drainage in to divert the water.
The house will be going somewhere in here:

Footy Tipping Comps
Posted by Matt | Filed under General
I’ve set up a couple of footy tipping comps for the AFL and NRL. Sign up if you’re interested.
AFL: http://www.footytips.com.au/jc.cfm?c=100888&P=Friday
NRL: http://www.footytips.com.au/jc.cfm?c=100889&P=Monday
Don’t worry about missing the first round in the NRL, you’ll still get points, I think it’s the site average for the round.
Return to Oz

No not the 1985 movie, Leigh and I are back home after our 6 week honeymoon. We didn’t get to Germany as planned, but we saw a lot of Switzerland, nearly all of Italy and a bit of time in London and Dubai visiting friends.
I’ll add some photos once I’ve had time to wade through the nearly 1500Â pictures that we took.

If you require transport back to Fernvale or Ipswich Accommodation, let Leigh or Matt know via email rsvp@theburgess.net , and we’ll arrange with the local taxi service to be available for you.
If you would like to return to Bremervale for breakfast on Sunday morning, about 9am, before heading home, let us know so we can ramp up our chickens’ egg production, with some organic growth hormones.
File Issues
Posted by Matt | Filed under General
If you’ve been having troubles downloading the Google Earth file, there’s been 2 issues that I’ve now fixed. One was my ability to type, stuffing up the URL to download the file, and the other was how the server handled certain MIME (file) types.
One month to go!
