Australia: Govt to unveil underground carbon storage plant
Australian Broadcasting Corporation: The Federal Government will today unveil its first carbon storage plant which will bury 100,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide in the ground. The plant in south-western Victoria is the biggest in the southern hemisphere and will lock the carbon 2 kilometres underground, removing it from the atmosphere.
